To crochet this Little Bat, you will need:
- Embroidery floss in the main color. Separate 1 strand from the skein. (I use Gamma Cloud grey embroidery thread). You can also use thin sewing thread. The thinner the thread, the smaller the toy will be.
- Dark grey cotton embroidery floss for ears, wings, and feet.
- Optional: about 1.5 cm of textured yarn (I used Adelia Sofia).
- Thread for sculpting (I use strong sewing thread doubled).
- Crochet hook 0.5 mm [US Steel Crochet Hook Size 18].
- Black eyes, 2 mm diameter.
- Black wire, 0.5 mm, that holds its shape well.
- Gel glue or super glue (must stick “forever”).
- Thin strong sewing needle for joining parts.
- Sharp manicure scissors, sewing pins, awl.
- Stuffing (polyester fiberfill).
- Toothpick, tweezers, or a broken felting needle for stuffing.
- For shading – dry pastel or watercolor paints, thin brush.
- Transparent glossy nail polish.
