Crochet pattern
“Sleeping Guardian Dragon”

$8.50
The pattern contains 19 pages of instructional material accompanied by 110 photos.
Basic crochet skills are a prerequisite.

To crochet this Sleeping Guardian Dragon, you will need:
• Embroidery floss in light green. Separate (strip) 1 strand from the skein. (I use Iris Gamma or DMC brand cotton embroidery floss). May be substituted with thin sewing thread. The thinner the thread, the smaller the toy will turn out.
• Embroidery floss in green for the crests and wing embroidery.
• Embroidery floss in beige for the horns and eyebrows.
• Remnant of black sewing thread for embroidering the nostrils, claws, and eyes.
• Crochet hook 0.5 mm [US Steel Crochet Hook Size 18].
• Iris Gamma or other thin cotton thread (approx. 900 m per 100 g [984 yds per 3.5 oz]) in two colors: red and milk (or white) for the fly agaric.
• Crochet hook 1 mm.
• Wire that holds its shape well, diameter 0.5 mm [0.02 inches].
• Glue gel, “Moment” brand super glue. (The glue needs to glue the pieces together sturdily and permanently.)
• Thin beading needle, diameter 0.45 mm [0.02 inches].
• Sharp nail scissors, tailor pins, awl.
• Stuffing (polyester fiberfill).
• A toothpick, tweezers, or a broken felting needle – used to insert stuffing.
• For tinting – watercolors and a thin brush.
