Material and Tools:

  • Adelia Kiss yarn in two colors – gray and a little white. Any yarn with a thickness of 300 m per 100 g will work.
  • Black sewing embroidery thread for eyebrows.
  • White cotton yarn for embroidering eye whites.
  • Pink thread (or thin yarn) for embroidering the nose.
  • 2mm crochet hook.
  • Black glass toy eyes, diameter 6 mm.
  • Glue – gel, Super Glue.
  • Large sturdy needle and a regular-sized needle.
  • Dry pastels for tinting, brush.
  • Sharp manicure scissors, round-nose pliers.
  • Polyester fiberfill.
  • Toothpick or a broken needle for stuffing.

Abbreviations:

  • sc – single crochet
  • inc – increase (work 2 sc in one stitch)
  • dec – decrease (work 2 stitches together)
  • MR – magic ring
  • ch – chain
  • sl st – slip stitch
The whole toy is worked in spiral rounds; numbers in parenthesis (xx) at the end of the round show the total stitch count after completion of this round.
I crochet with the wrong side of the yarn facing out because it's a bit fluffy, giving the fabric a special texture.

Head-Body:

R1. 6 sc in MR (6)
R2. 6 inc (12)
R3. (sc, inc) * 6 times (18)
R4. (2 sc, inc) * 6 times (24)
R5. (3 sc, inc) * 6 times (30)
R6.-7. 30 sc
R8. (4 sc, inc) * 6 times (36)
R9.-10. 36 sc
R11. (5 sc, inc) * 6 times (42)
R12.-17. (Total 6 rounds) 42 sc
R18. (5 sc, dec) * 6 times (36)
R19. (4 sc, dec) * 6 times (30), start stuffing the body
R20. (3 sc, dec) * 6 times (24)
R21. (2 sc, dec) * 6 times (18)
R22. (sc, dec) * 6 times (12), stuff the body firmly, above average density.
R23. Work 6 dec, sew up the opening.

Ears, make 2:

R1. 6 sc in MR (6)
R2. (sc, inc) * 3 times (9)
R3. 9 sc
R4. (2 sc, inc) * 3 times (12)

R10. (sc, dec) * 6 times (12)
R11. work 6 dec (6). Ears are not stuffed.

Muzzle, in white:

R1. Begin by crocheting a chain of ch5, work an increase into the second chain from the hook, followed by 1 sc each into the next two chains, then work 3 sc into the last chain, and continue into the unused loops on the opposite side of the beginning chain – 3 sc. This has yielded 10 sc. [Video].

R2. (inc, 4 sc) * 2 times (12), make 1 sl st and sew the edge in such a way as to smooth the transition from one row to another.

Arms, make 2:

R1. 6 sc in MR (6)
R2.-5. (Total 4 rounds) crochet 6 sc in each. Cut the thread, leaving an end for sewing about 15 cm

Legs, make 2:

Crochet exactly like the first row of the muzzle.
R2. (inc, 4 sc) * 2 times (12)
R3. 12 sc
R4. 6 dec. Don't stuff the leg! Cut the thread, leaving an end for sewing about 15 cm.

Finishing:

Embroider the nose with pink thread at the top of the muzzle, making a few horizontal stitches, then add bulk around the original horizontal lines. With black thread, make a single vertical stitch from the center of the nose to the bottom of the muzzle.
Sew the muzzle between rounds 7 and 10.
Sew the ears to the crown, slightly at an angle.

Sew the eyes near the muzzle, create eyelids (I explain and show in detail how to embroider them correctly in my paid patterns). Embroider two dome-shaped eyebrows.

Tint the ears and cheeks with pink using a stiff brush and pastels.

Sew the arms between rounds s 11 and 12, the legs between rounds 12 and 17.

If you want to try micro-crocheting and make a truly tiny bunny, opt for a finer yarn. Adelia Kiss can be perfectly divided into 6 individual strands. By splitting the yarn and using just 1 strand with a 0.5 mm hook, you'll get an absolutely microscopic bunny!
