Hi there! Let’s create such a fluffy cute and very realistic bumblebee! It will serve as a wonderful addition to your miniature toys collection, your doll accessory, or a gift to a loved one!
Supplies:
- Gamma Cloud embroidery floss in white, black and yellow. Use 1 strand. (Possible substitute: Adelia Kiss yarn, it is identical to the Cloud thread). The thinner is the thread, the smaller is your finished toy, and vice versa. You can also use tapestry wool.
- Black sewing thread (to make the legs and to sew on pieces).
- 0.3 mm black wire for bead weaving (for the antennae)
- 0.4 mm black metal wire for the legs.
- 0.5 mm crochet hook.
- Gel super glue.
- Gel clear glue.
- A small piece of transparent plastic for the wings. (Any candy/cookies, etc. box plastic lid will do, the key is for the plastic to be thin like a sheet of paper. Bottle plastic will not work due to its cylindrical shape)
- Thin strong needle.
- Stationary knife.
- Sharp manicure scissors, pliers.
- Velcro fastener or slicker brush to brush the bumblebee.
- Ocher color chalk pastel for toning and a flat synthetic brush.
- Fiber filler.
- Toothpick or a broken felting needle to use as a stuffing tool.
